It will come back with lots of red marks, I'm sure. Scott Nicholson (the editor) is also listed on the Blood-Red Pencil blog and I just saw that you are part of that group as well.
Thanks again,
Christaauthor Christa Polkinhornhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14609212815347152668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3783670245036501397.post-53531095194267330672010-10-14T09:03:57.953-07:002010-10-14T09:03:57.953-07:00Your descriptions are vivid and easy to see in my ...Your descriptions are vivid and easy to see in my mind. This chapter draws me to Jonas and makes me want to see how he fits into the uncommon family.

HelenHelen Gingerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09794759602654727110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3783670245036501397.post-20279220750190404092010-09-27T07:10:48.719-07:002010-09-27T07:10:48.719-07:00Thanks, Susan, I am so glad you like it!

The fullness of the sky contrasted with the emptiness of the bodies (like empty shells.)

Poetic sensory descriptions: piles of clouds; smelled of wet grass, of chrysanthemums, the sweet-rotten aroma of fall; the ground was strewn with yellow and red; longish canoe was sliding by; built-together stone houses looked like a row of uneven teeth; the linden trees . . . shimmered in their clear green foliage; curtain of dark-green ivy hid part of the gray granite wall; he gave off a whiff of smoke which reminded her of Anna's wood stove

You have captured my imagination and my curiosity to know more about these characters! Looking forward to the next installment!Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06979570093142115860noreply@blogger.com
